i offered him halladay dice-k and kaz for davis and phillips.

we'll see if he bites on this one... my gut tells me it's a bit too much, but invariably with the extra roster spot and my tenacity in fantasy baseball i'll get another pitcher during the course of the year who complements my roster of aces rather well

i dont really like mike gonzalez much, especially with my four closers as it is... hmmmm i mean i'd prefer lincecum over daisuke, esp cuz lincecum has really only done it for one year, halladay is the real prize coming out of it.

trepidations, eh!@?

yeah i'm with you on that one.... i can't see doing lincecum, because as i see it daisuke isn't quite an ace, eh!?@

so how about countering halladay for phillips straightup?!@

looking at halladay, he's got the potential to get an era up in the 3s what with being older and all, and with alexei ramirez and maybe tossing in kazmat to make it even nicer, he's got his holes shored up and he gets the ace i'm willing to part with, and yeah it sucks i can't pry chris davis out of him for daisuke, but hey i'm willing to take my chances on power numbers cuz i'll find way to manage, as there are 9 other teams in the league and i'm certainly going to come up on FA/WW pitchers in the season who i can trade for bats.

so what thinkest thou on that?!@

addendum: i responded to him with halladay/kazmat for phillips straightup.

he's got alexei ramirez and technically i'm giving him a serviceable MI, and he can get an ace that he needs and he's got more SB up and down his lineup than i have, cuz i really need a 20/20 guy in there cuz my SB guys are basically sizemore/kazmat, and then whoever wants to come out of the carlos gomez / michael bourn / lastings milledge giant whirlpool of mediocrity =D

not a bad offer. Phillips offers your team a good upgrade.

hmm i see no counter-offer up, but i see no "you have offered a trade to bo jackson's hip v5" so maybe i have offended his sensibilities, or he's having a good cry over the fact that i'm not really going to hand over lincecum to him =D

Comments from Bo Jacksons Hip v5!:
I picked Phillips 3 full rounds before Halladay. Kazmat Suit is a replacement level MI. You are brutal at MI and CI. You have a glut of starting pitching (prob 5 of the top 20 and 3 of the top 5/6?). Think about the other trade. You're the one who's team is out of whack, my team is fairly balanced.

someone get this man a tissue.... "think about the other trade".. ha!

so from here i feel awfully inclined to offer daisuke matsuzaka for alexei ramirez, tho maybe i should check the draft results to see what he might cry about
