Middle relievers in 16 team league

Postby mrobinson » Tue Mar 31, 2009 11:08 am

Is there a young Joel Zumaya or Jonathan Broxton out there I can grab?

Just had a 16 team league draft and came away with Gonzalez, Lindstrom and Frank Francisco as closers. Looking for a young fireballer to help w/ K's and ratios and if possible be in line to snake some saves.

Motte and Perez are gone
Leo Nunez is gone
Arrondedndo is gone
Sheilds is gone
Rauch is gone

Right now Im thining maybe Jensen Lewis or Matt Thornton. Other guys out there?

Tommy Hanson is a possibility when he gets called up. He may be used in a relief role similar to Brandon Morrow.

I like Edwar Ramirez quite a lot. He was amazing in the minors, and I expect a nice bump in his ratios this season. Also, if the unthinkable happens and Mo needs a break, I would imagine he'd be next in line?
