There was a huge run on middle infielders during the draft, and an under-valuing of pitching (IMO). I ended up drafting only 2 RP, and my depth at MI is a little shaky.
My MI:
SS: Hanley Ramirez (1.03)
2B: Mike Fontenot (18.10)
MI: Michael Young (9.03)
MI: Mark Ellis (28.10)
Bench: Erick Aybar (39.03)
There's pretty much just garbage available in FA for MI. I do not have any MI prospects.
My RP:
Brian Fuentes (16.10)
Matt Capps (19.03)
Josh Fields (SEA) (27.03)
I'm not sure if Fields will get into the majors this year, and if he does, how much he'll play, but he's the only other RP on my roster.
Anyway, I was offered Mike Gonzalez for Fontenot straight up.
Any thoughts? The value is pretty close, I'm hurting at RP, but I'll be hurting at MI too giving up Fontenot, who as of right now, is my starting 2B and probably my third best MI behind Hanley/Young.
Thanks in advance.
