I was just going to throw an update in here....

He's facing the Texas starting lineup so it's going to be a good look for him.

So far...

2IP / 0H / 0ER / 1BB / 3K

....oh, and why are you concerned?

concerned wasn't the right word choice, more like interested owner. i know he's been working on pitches this spring so that's why his era is high, but he did get lit up his last start which concerned me a little since it was his 2nd to last start before the regular season and he should be getting closer to season form.

Well that inning was very impressive.....first guy up was Cruz who hit a lead off double...then Greinke promptly strikes out Murphy, Davis and Salty to get out of it.

A quick inning for Texas brings Greinke right back out there.....and doesn't respond well to it....yet....bases loaded nobody out in the 5th for Greinke. This should be good to see how he responds.

...and they made him pay. The next two guys got out but both were sacrifice outs...2 runs scored....then Cruz hits another double and Murphy gets a 2rbi base hit. 4 runs score in the 5th.

5IP / 6H / 4ER / 2BB / 7K

...with the bad inning there I'm still impressed with his outing thus far...obviously you don't want the bad inning but overall from what I wanted to see its been a solid start. I'm curious if he'll go back out there for the 6th and how he'll do if he does.

Thought I'd throw this out there since it seems like Greinke won the battle vs C.Lee unanimously...

RIGHT NOW, who's more valuable?/Which one would you rather have? Greinke or Lackey?

You do realize that Lackey's had elbow problems for two straight years and won't be pitching until May?

Even with the earth shattering reality altering spring training :*) Grienke is having I would still (and I have in at least one draft) take Lee.

They are both aces and #1 guys for fantasy teams but I take Lee.

The bandwagon predicting that Lee crashes to earth has picked up way too many passangers. The command was there 170 K and 34 BB is a 5 to 1 margin, that's huge. He did it over 223 innings, it's no fluke. Lee cut down on his fly balls, stopped giving up homers and turned himself into a groundball pitcher with great control. He has become pretty much like Brandon Webb. Sure you can predict that it was a fluke but over 223 innings? It's not like Loaiza who said that he developped a new pitch, this is control.

I take Lee.
