Re: Trade Help!!!

hmmm, i'm not sure i like this. while votto is a potential stud 1B with great power, sandoval isn't bad either. if motte becomes the closer, you'd be losing a good one. right now, i'd see what happens with motte, then do the deal. sandoval's hype helps his trade value right now.

I would do that. IMO Sandoval has value as a C but little value as a 3B.

I would do this.

Motte=current Cards closer, but Perez is the future I think.
Sandoval=good keeper if he is C eligible, but he may not be next year.

Votto=very good keeper, assuming you would keep him next year.

You have Soto, so it's not like you need Sandoval at C. Make the trade, slide Youk over to 3B.

Peace,

Yeah, I would make the trade. As the previous poster said you have Soto so you don't really need sandoval, and Motte is fine but Perez is waiting in the wings. Basically, I think that Votto is the kind of player that Sandoval could become, but why wait and find out when you can grab Votto and let him produce for you now.

I'd pull the trigger right away for Votto if that's offered to you. Otherwise, I don't think that trade will fly if you're offering it, as you'd definitely need to give a lot more than that.
