Manny Corpas?

Should I pick up Corpas?

I have Soria, but my other closers are a bit shakey (Hanrahan, Bell and Gregg).

The problem is I would have to drop Elijah Dukes to get Corpas. I am overloaded at OF (I have H. Pence, J. Upton and L. Milledge all sitting on the bench with Dukes), but Dukes is a nice prospect in a keeper league.

It's a 10-team, 5x5, roto, keeper league.

Thanks in advance!

I really think you are OK at closer, at least for right now. But with all the OF depth, I guess there is no reason not to drop Dukes. A trade involving Dukes for a little bit more established closer is possible, especially in a keeper league. Maybe a deal for a Brian Wilson. Now I wouldn't take it, but someone else might....

I really think Corpas will close. Drop Dukes for him and if and when Corpas is confirmed as the closer, trade one or two of your closers to strengthen another area.

Corpas is a nice player, and i think he will eventually get the closer job (watch Street get showcased and then traded) but oooo I'd hate to give up Dukes. He gets his act together, he could be huge.

You might want to poke around for Marmol, see where his owner's head is at, he may be really annoyed that Gregg got the nod, and give up Marmol for less than what he's worth. Marmol is the future, not Gregg. Also check on Wheeler, as I am sure Percival will hit the DL at least once or twice.....
