The Murphy I have plays for the Mets. I like his upside.

I would do it. It sucks losing the best player in the deal, but Bell could be a borderline top 10 closer in SD and Nolasco has a lot of upside too. Markakis is as safe as they get and could outproduce Tex if he takes another step this year. I think there's enough upside to this deal without much risk to pull the trigger.
I wouldn't let Tex go for that. I love Markakis, but even with Bell and Nolasco, I'd take the Tex side of the deal. A 1 for 3 is almost never a good idea.
That trade is going to improve your starting pitching and outfield, the two weakest parts of your team. You put Dunn at 1B and with Markakis in OF and Nolasco pitching it improves your team. Yes, you are trading the best player in the deal, but getting a 5 tool guy and on the upswing. You are getting a very good young pitcher and a closer with a secure job.
I would take the trade. With A-Rod hurt, Teixeira's numbers will not be as great as people think. I also think you may be getting the best player in the deal. Markakis may be better than Tex.
