I see both of these guys holding similar value, as a MI/backup type
to me Hairston has a little more proven track record based on last year, but is injury prone.
hitting 2nd in that lineup while playing at Cincy as a 2b/ss/of is good value
Andrus on the other hand, appears to be set as the SS, is solid with the glove and has more speed. He should score plenty of runs as the 9 hitter and will have ample rbi opps.
Im targetting one of these guys late as a backup/MI player and have them listed as 1a/1b
what you guys think?

Andrus because he's going to get the playing time for sure. What kind of league though, roto? Hairston will probably hit twenty points higher but in quite a few less at bats. Other than that they are similar but would expect Hairston's numbers to be proportionate to his playing time compared to Elvis. I really like that Texas lineup this year too.

Baseball Leftovers vs Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waiver forum? Standard league question asking who should I pick up?
Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waiver forum!
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

sorry I see plenty of this guy vs that guy threads on the first page alone. And generally speaking the other forums range from useless to slightly useful
and I wasnt looking at this as a who should you draft but a valid comparison that might bring some discussion in deeper leagues
