Is he going to start the season as a starter?

He is currently my staring third baseman in a very competitive league. Mike Lowell is available but I love Stewart's potential and would hate to have someone else snag him up.

So do you have any info that states that Stewart will start somewhere on opening day???

I think the plan is for him to be a super utility guy like Mark DeRosa. He'll start at different positions and get between 450-500 ABS. If you have someone expendable, you could cut them and pick up Lowell just in case, but I think Stewart will play *almost* every day.

How many teams are in this league?

Stewart is a nice high reward guy, but it hesitate to go into a season with him as a starter in anything smaller than an 18 team league. Out of starters you need, at the very least, solid ABs. Lowell is meh, so maybe you just need a more solid backup. WHo else do you have? Who can you drop for Lowell besides Stewart?

Barmes is an injury risk and the Rockies are not likely a contender ... given Stewart's upside, I would take him over Lowell going into the season.
