Draft is in 20 minutes - WHIR

Postby Berg » Mon Mar 30, 2009 6:12 pm

5x5 roto using OBP (non-keeper). I've got picks #16 and #17, and am trying to decide who to take. I'm not even sure if all of the guys on my list below will be available, but I was just wondering what anyone else thought and how they'd rank them. Any advice would be appreciated and WHIR.

Longoria
Holliday
Beltran
Berkman
Upton

I wouldn't hesitate to take Longoria and Holliday with those picks if they are available. Berkman would be ahead of both of them by a hair, but I would take Longoria and Holliday over any of the others. Longoria first. Holliday second. That's my opinion anyway.

Rank 'em like this:

Beltran
Berkman
Upton
Longoria
Holliday

I think Longoria gets waaay to much love because of his upside... he's not there yet. Think .275 average. I'm pretty low on Holliday. It seems funny what happened with him. He drop from 1st round stud to a good 3 rounds later after the trade, but now he's back up as an early 2nd rounder: the splits have always told the same story.
