H2H 5x5 Keeper league, where we keep 12. 12 team league.
Howie Kendrick was dropped. I have the seventh waiver priority. Should I use it on Kendrick? I have Davis at Util and Utley at 2B, but it can't hurt to have someone who could be trade bait or make someone else trade bait like Kendrick, right?
Here's my team...
C McCann
1B Morneau
2B Utley
3B Longoria
SS Tulowitzki
OF Sizemore
OF Crawford
OF Kemp
Util Davis
Bench Greene
Bench Taveras
SP Peavy
SP Kazmir
SP Gallardo
SP Josh Johnson
SP Chris Young
SP Sanchez
SP Escobar
SP Bonderman
RP Bell
RP Lindstrom
RP Gregg
RP Gonzlez
RP Arredondo
RP Villaneuva
By the way, I just picked up Villaneuva since he will probably be closing early in the year to replace Hoffman. If he isn't closing, he'll be gone soon enough....

id go for kendrick. he projects as a high ave hitter while davis is a power guy, so you would have flexibility at utility. plus i think kendrick has a good year, so long he gets his ABs.. hitters of kendricks potential aren't often on the waiver wire in a 12 team league...

I say definitely go for it. He won't be a starter, so I like to reserve those kind of guys for high upside players. If he gets hot, you trade him to the team starting Alexi Casilla. If not, he costs you Khalil Grenne (the best option to drop).

Thanks for your advice.
I'd definitely drop Greene for Kendrick.

Ironically, the team that dropped Kendrick picked up Alexi Casilla.....
I thought that was a little funny....
