Hmmmm...I could always add to the trade.

Maybe Napoli and Jimenez for one of the following: Dempster, Lilly, Shields, Cain, Bedard, Lester or K-Rod (he's on the block). Any or all of those sound good? Not saying they'd accept, but those are pitchers from rosters that could use a catcher upgrade.

Thanks!

I think this is your best route. Package Napoli and Jimenez and see what you can get. Out of those you listed, I like Shields, Cain, Dempster, LIlly, and KRod the best. Shields would be the best target, but his owner may scoff at the package offer unless he's really hurting at catcher. Thanks for the help on mine!

I wouldn't be in a big rush to deal Napoli. Catchers with 20+ HRs don't grow on trees, and he's probably easily a top 12 catcher option with upside. I think you're better off packaging him with a pitcher like you suggest. Lowe and Bedard are intriguing targets.

Any reason you couldn't wait a bit?

In a league that big, with the beatings catchers take you might be able to work a much better deal in June than now.

I'm just antsy I guess. For those who suggest I wait, you think I'm ok with pitching for now? Keeping in mind it's a 20 teamer, so the talent is spread thin.

you must have another solid catcher on your team to consider this. i think after the season starts, you could actually trade napoli for a pitcher without throwing in anyone else, if he starts out on a roll.

thanks for helping me.

Shoot a little higher. Napoli in a 20 teamer is worth more than Pettite.

good luck

thanks for help with mine

Hmmm...every trade I offer is getting rejected, even when I throw in Jimenez along with Napoli for a little better quality pitcher (Cain, Dempster, Shields). So right now it's either sell for Pettitte or wait til the season starts.

I guess I'd wait then... Just out of curiousity, who do the owners of Dempster, Cain, and Shields have at catcher?

Also, who are the 4 worst starting C's in your league, and what does the owner's pitching staff look like?
