Expos agree to deals with Schneider and Wilkerson

Melbourne, FL (Sports Network) - The Montreal Expos agreed to terms with catcher Brian Schneider Wednesday and also renewed the contract of outfielder Brad Wilkerson.

Schneider hit .230 with nine home runs and 46 RBI last season for Montreal and led all major league catchers by throwing out 46.7 percent of runners attempting to steal. He made his debut for the Expos in 2000.

In three seasons with the Expos, Wilkerson has a .261 batting average with 40 homers and 141 RBI. He hit .268 with 19 home runs and 77 RBI last season.
