Alexei Ramirez left Monday's game in the third inning with an apparent left knee injury sustained sliding into home place.
Ramirez clearly had a cut on the leg. The White Sox will have to hope that's the only problem. It's a huge drop off offensively to Brent Lillibridge at shortstop, and it remains to be seen if manager Ozzie Guillen trusts Wilson Betemit at the position.

according to MLB.com it isnt serious and he walked into clubhouse on his own power. He is day to day. Hopefully its just a small contusion and some scrapes.

From Chi white sox webpage "Yeah, he just got spiked," said Guillen of Ramirez, who suffered a cut on the knee from the spikes. "He's fine."

On a side note, are they really gonna let a couple of turds like Wise and Getz hit in the 1 and 2 spots in the lineup, and leave Alexei down at 8th or so?
Everything I've read says he hits in the bottom of the order with those other guys at the top.

Not worried in the least. Like last year - if Alexei hits, he'll find one of the prime spots in the order. Guillen showed that.
