The Scherz man. I love his upside, so the 3-year keeper aspect of ur league would make me prefer him. Verlander's ceiling is high as well, but Scherzer has the best opportunity to put up Lincecum-like stats in the NL and is just starting his MLB career. The only knocks are his lack of innings per season so far and his few injuries. 3 years is a good amount of time, though, and I think we could see a #1 ace by next season depending on how smooth his season goes this year and whether he can effectively stretch out his arm.

I agree with the above, NL pitchers are better than AL pitchers (in general); Verlander seems to be having issues this spring too, he scares me.
