Hola Cafers, I did a little too much celebrating druring the draft this year and made some whacky picks to say the least. I wound up with a rookie/unproven outfield and no SP. I was trying to get the best RP's I could since there are 9 pitching categories and we are playing holds. I don't want any lectures, I don't want any pity, I just want your help. I need to get some things straightened out before the season starts and any advice will be appreciated. Here are some of the notable players on the WW: Batters: Butler, Francoer, Church, Spilborghs, Dickerson, Fukudome, Crede, Duncan, Byrnes, Hermida, Hafner, Konerko Pitchers: J. Weaver, Kuroda, Guthrie, Galarraga, Marshall, Parra, Penny, Aardsma, Hanson, Cahill, Gallagher, Zimmerman (12 Team H2H redraft league) Batters: R, 2B, HR, RBI, TB, K, SB, AVG Pitchers: W, L, SV, Holds, K, 2B, TB, ERA, WHIP C - McCann 1B - D. Lee 2B - Utley 3B - C. Davis SS - Jeter OF - Torii, J. Upton, E. Dukes Util. - T. Snider Util. - T. Ishikawa BN - ARoid, D. Murphy (NY) _____________________________________ SP: Lester, Maholm, Price (NA), E. Santana (DL) RP: Papelbon, Nathan, Bell, Marmol, Saito, Putz, R.Perez

Pick up Church and Weaver. Drop 2 of the bums (Saito, Ishikawa, Marmol, etc.)

Well as bad as you think your team is I would say to wait it out. The only hitter I would consider at this time is Butler. I would NOT add a SP or do anything with your pitching staff. With the P's you have now you should be competitive in L, SV, Hold, 2B, TB, ERA & Whip.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, it's a money league, it's $235/team and it's competitive as hell. Yes, I was drunk. (I told u this already) Yes, I drafted Papelbon in the 3rd (thought it was the 4th. Still too early tho) Yes, I don't think I should be picking up any more SP either since I can compete in 6 out of 9 pitching cats. Yes, I'm the defending champ and I've won it twice in the 4 years the league has been around No, I don't like my chances. No, I'm not seeking the help I need. Thanks peeps.
