Tough to say...the Indians have Garko at first (whom they have soured on after last year), but they could switch Victor Martinez there full-time, opening the starting catcher spot for Shoppach and forcing Garko into an outfield platoon. Travis Hafner's production/health at DH could also open up more ABs for the aforementioned players. That's the speculation I'm hearing...I wouldn't draft Shoppach as my number one catcher but he's worth taking a late round flyer on (I drafted V-Mart in the middle of my draft and grabbed Shoppach with a late round pick as insurance). A lot of ifs in terms of his playing time but his power is legitimate and he could be a productive player if he gets enough at bats.
Personally, I think you're better off drafting Martinez because he is sure to slip well below his value in the draft and is guaranteed consistent playing time.
