Can anyone list players who hit extremely well against lefties and horrible against righties, and the opposite, great against righties and bad against lefties. Thanks.

The only star I can think of off the top of my head is Eric Chavez who can't hit lefties at all. Bret Boone also doesn't hit lefties particularly well for some reason.

I'm sure there are lots of others but they either aren't as good so nobody really considers it, or it isn't as extreme.

David Ortiz is another one.

Jackal is right though, most players like this are platooning for that reason, so aren't worth much in fantasy leagues.

Hank Blalock is a career .183 hitter against lefties.

He didn't play much last year against lefties...

Actually lefties who platoon vs. RH pitchers are a great late round bargain. You can easlily pick up three of them who will produce far more than what the usual late rounder is getting, and shuffle them in the final OF/1B/Ut spot. Take Stairs, Hafner, and Garcia, say, and you'll have a 35-35 HR, .875 OPS player in your final spot. You can't bear that.
