It is hard to put a finger on Howard's OBP since it has flucuated so much the last 4 years but if you want to use career avg then Pujols is .425 and Howard is .380. That is a huge difference.

So what your saying is that difference in OBP is enough to make Pujols more valuable than Sizemore as well as Howard?
I'm mainly asking this because the league I am in isn't the most competitive expert league, just a friendly money league with people from St. Louis, and I can guarantee a lot of people want Pujols on their team just for the name. I figure if he is at the same fantasy level as those other two, I could trade Pujols for one of them and also pick up somebody else to help my team and get more value than just having Pujols.

Thanks

I would say so. He's one of those high BA hitters that also has an excellent OBP. So while OBP helps Howard and Sizemore it doesn't make them more valueable than Pujols IMO.

Barring an injury or something, Pujols will be the MVP of your league. Now if you can take advantage of your Pujols-loving league-mates and get them to grossly overpay then go for it. But I'd be happy with Pujols.

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it.
