Drop Gonzalez or Jenks for Gregg?

Postby rickjamess » Sun Mar 29, 2009 9:47 pm

If you were not aware, Kevin Gregg was named the Cubs closer today by Lou Pinella. Should I drop either of my current RP for Gregg? Due to roster restrictions I would have to drop one to make a pickup.

Current RP:
B. Jenks (CHW)
M. Gonzalez (ATL)

I'd rather have Gregg than Gonzalez, much better offense behind him

What has offense got to do with anything?

I would stand pat. Greggs leash will be short with Marmol there.

You never drop closers! You keep them or trade them. But never drop them.
Drop someone else, and get Gregg.
