OK, Marmol didn't get the gig and middle relievers have minimal value in my league. Should I cut him for a guy who may get save opps? Available closers are hard to find, and Devine seems like maybe the best. Morrow and the Colorado guys are available too.

Devine's going to split duties w/ Ziegler, at least at the outset, so you'd be getting a guy who's only good for half the # of saves as he'd normally get otherwise. Marmol's good for everything but Saves, really, so unless you're really, really worried about those (which I doubt considering you've got Paps and Mo) then you might get off just keeping Marmol and using him for K, ERA and WHIP.
And if Gregg completely craps the bed you're covered b/c his replacement is already on your roster.
Hang on to Marmol. You already have Gregg which guarantees you a closer for the season. Also, I'd be shocked if Marmol doesn't have the gig come May... Once he gets it, he's a top 10 closer, the same of which cannot be said for Devine or Ray.
I would hold onto Marmol for several reasons: I agree with plapre3 and expect Marmol to reclaim the job at some point. And even if I'm wrong Marmol is very valuable without SV and you're not exactly hurting in that dept.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
I'm in the minority that don't think Marmol gets the gig this year. This is the same story as last year when Marmol was supposed to be the closer and Wood won the job out of spring training. Everyone said that it would only be a matter of time before Marmol was the closer, but he never was. Lou likes using him in the tight spots in the 7th and 8th innings.
That being said, Marmol is always worth owning. In any format that I have seen. I don't know how a middle reliever has minimal value in your league because I don't know your settings. But any time I can get a guy who will pitch about 80 innings, strike out about 80, have an ERA around 2.00 and a WHIP around 1.00 while gathering about 5-8 wins and about 8 saves, I think that person has tremendous value. On top of that, there seem to be a ton of closers on your WW. Devine, Street, Ray, Corpas, and Morrow are all out there. I don't see any reason to drop Marmol for one of those guys, when they all are sitting out there waiting to be grabbed if you need one later. It seems to me that you should stay put.
