Use #1 waiver on Kershaw?

Postby TeamMikeDeveraux » Sun Mar 29, 2009 7:06 pm

Hey guys,
I have the #1 waiver, which is a blessing and a curse, and I was wondering if you think I should use it to snag Clayton Kershaw...I do need some SP and I would drop Edwin Jackson. I think my league is fairly competitive so I dont think there will be a many substantial releases, but you never know. Thoughts? Roster and league info is below

depennds on what kind of hitters are there. Seems like your offense doen'st have much bench.

If theres no hitters, I would definetly pick up kershaw...expect good things

This is the deja vu thread. I swear the same question pops up every day lol. Yes I would burn the #1 priority on Kershaw and drop Jackson.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Absolutely I do that. Kershaw's numbers from last year were OK, and he's young, young, young.
