Postby daveblotto » Sun Mar 29, 2009 5:33 pm

I have 2 leagues 5X5 Roto in one 5X5 roto Head to head in the other

I have in my straight Roto , Marmol( he was a 22nd round keeper), Hoffman, Drafted Perez, but now have Motte

Head to Head, I have Nathan, Hoffman, Corpas.

Corpas is sitting there in Roto league. Should I pick him up? If so who to drop? we are now allowed 5 keepers for a period of 3 years, which Is why I have guys like McCutchen, Cahil and Snider. Thoughts??

If I had to choose one to drop, it'd be Saunders

With that roster and those league settings, I don't know who you can drop to get Corpas. I would say Gomez may be your worst player (I don't like him), but you need his speed and probably can't get rid of him b/c someone will grab him right away. You may want to wait it out unless you think dropping a kid like McCutchen or Cahill won't come back to bite you in a few years.

Yeah, you need Corpas more than you can afford to wait to see if he beats out Street. It's not clear how your 5 keepers are set up - do you plan to fill all five keeper slots with the rookies, at the expense of not keeping studs like Utley? If not, then I'd dump one of the rookies (Cahill probably); if so, then Saunders.
