With A-Rod/Escobar/Lackey all DL-eligible, I will have two free roster spots. The guys perking my interest on the waiver wire:
SP Paul Maholm, SP Chris Volstad, RP Joey Devine, RP Chris Ray, OF Ryan Spilborghs
I think I should probably add a SP with only 4 healthy starters to start the year, but I'm really tempted to grab Ray as an extra closer. I'm also a big Spilborghs fan and feel he could be a nice sleeper and complement to my lack of speed/runs. As of right now, I'm leaning towards Maholm/Ray. WHIR!!!

I lean Maholm or Spilborghs ... take a shot on Spilby

i think with your injuries to your starting pitchers, you should take a shot with maholm. he's a good pitcher, too bad he plays for a not so good team.

i'd also get spilborghs to give you more speed and power in the outfield. after your starters get healthy, then consider grabbing another closer.
