Edit: Since I posted the below..he has offered me Papi and Kinsler for Utley. Do not need Papi..but is that too good to pass up? I could then shop around Papi for a SS maybe?

Another manager in our league want Chase Utley from me very very badly. We have gone through multiple trade offers and can never come to an agreement. 10 team..private Yahoo H2H..5X5.

Below is our rosters..with my roster listed first:

C - Ianetta
1B - Adrian Gonzalez
2B - Utley
3B - Aramis Ramirez
SS - Aviles
OF - Nelson Cruz
OF - Carlos Quentin
OF - Abreu
UTIL - Votto

SP - Lincecum
SP - Billingsley
SP - Greinke
SP - Lackey
SP - Shields
SP - Slowey
SP - Harang
SP - Scott Baker
SP - Josh Johnson
SP - Josh Beckett
SP - David Price

His roster:

C - Martin
1B - Dunn
2B - Kinsler
3B - Zimmerman
SS - Tulo
OF - Josh Hamilton
OF - Granderson
OF - Dye
UTIL - Ortiz
Bench - Damon
Bench - Tejada

SP - Volquez
SP - Haren
RP - Soria
RP - Ryan
SP - Liriano
SP -Young
SP - Pettitte
SP - Carmona
SP - Marquis

He has declared Josh Hamilton untouchable and he has proposed Kinsler and Tejada for Utley a few times...but I am just not sold on Tejada.

Can anyone come up with a fair offer involving Kinsler and Utley? I will not trade them straight up and he knows that much. I would like to get Tulo and Kinsler...but he does not seem to want to budge on trading Tulo.

I'm not a Papi fan, but how do you pass that up? Some people have Kinsler ranked ahead of Utley for this year. (Not me, by the way.) But you'd be getting Kinsler and Papi for Utley. That's unreal value. You could shop Papi around and see what you get back....love this deal and don't see how you pass it up.

I would do it! Papi should be able to be packaged with Aviles for someone like Drew or M. Young?

IMO Utley and Kinsler are pretty close so Papi is a bonus

help me?

Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...

Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong

It's good for you value-wise. The only thing is you'll need to trade either one of AGonz, Votto, or Ortiz for upgrades (aim for a SS). You'll also have to deal with the fact that Kinsler has failed to play 130 games in each of his big league seasons, for whatever reason.

You have to do that. Even if you just flip ortiz to someone who needs him more than you do, its too much value to pass on.
