Should Myers stay or go?

I'm in a auction keepers and here;s what my staff looks like

SP: Billingsley, Volquez, Gallardo, J.Zimmerman, Bret Myers
RP: Marmol, Broxton, Hanrahan, Aardsma, Chris Ray

Once Marmol/Gregg and Sherrill/Ray situation clears up, I'll trade some of my RPs to shore up my SPs. But in the meantime, I'd like to see if there's anyone at the waivers.

So far, these guys have caught my eye,
Paul Maholm
Gil Meche
Jonathan Sanchez
Wandy rodriguez
Joe Saunders

Are any of these guys worth owning over Myers? I'd like to keep Zimmerman, seeing as he's the new hotness and all. So far it's a toss up between Maholm and Wandy, with the slight edge going to
Wandy.

i completely agree with your assessment (slight edge to wandy over maholm) but i let myers ride for a week or two...he has the talent to put things together, and is in a contract year, so id see if he has that extra motivation to step his game up to his talent level

I would rather have Myers then any of the other guys on that list. He has the potential to be very good this year, while I think the cieling for Wandy and Malholm is much lower.

Check out Gil Meche, he'd fit well with your staff. The guy I'd dump though is Aardsma. Even if he wins the closer lottery in Spring Training, he'll only hold it until Chad Cordero is ready
