I may be wrong but I thought all Yahoo leagues have the same player database... :-?

By no means am I claiming to be 100% correct, but I had always thought that...
There was a change this year, so in the commissioner settings you can restrict the player pool to only players that have already appeared in games.

Good to know, I had no idea.

That's going to render the #1 waiver pick which I have in my league pretty much useless. All these players are already in the system and pretty much owned.

I'd say Strasburg is the last hope on that front :(

Tuesday April 21st

1. Anibal Sanchez FLA - Road vs. PIT (Jeff Karstens)

- The Pirates offense has looked mostly weak this year. Anibal Sanchez seems to be uneconomical with his pitch count, but he's still shaking off the rust a bit from last season so I think another QS is in store here.
-Prediction- W, 6.1IP, 6h, 2ER, 3BB, 4k

2. Aaron Laffey CLE - Home vs. KC (Sidney Ponson)

-Despite the fact that Alex Gordon wasn't hitting when he got injured, losing him for a significant amount of time is going to hurt the Royals offensively. Since he went down they have scored plenty of runs, but when face with better pitching than what Texas has they should fold pretty easily. Kevin Millwood shut them down with pretty much no problem. The lefty Laffey should have success as well.
-Prediction- ND, 6IP, 5h, 2ER, 2BB, 3k

3. Yusmeiro Petit ARZ - Home vs. COL (Franklin Morales)

-Really more of a dice roll than anything else. Colorado has faced some really tough pitching over the last few days and we know they are a different team at home. This start probably has no in-between it'll either be very good or kaboom-level bad. Like I said it's just a shot in the dark, I'm more comfortable with Laffey and Sanchez in that order. But he's recommended because there's signifcant K possibilities here.
-Prediction- ND, 5IP, 3ER, 5h, 2BB, 5k

I omitted Kawakami because he's owned in a lot of leagues, and I don't like Washburn for 3 good starts.

Of the two I like Kawakami to go deeper and have more K's.

Hmm, I thought if you were gonna include a pitcher from the ARZ/COL game it would be Franklin Morales. Arizona hasn't been hitting anything lately, and Morales pitched very well in his last 2 starts (one MLB, one AAA). Either way I'm goin with him and Laffey today, so hopefully it works out.
Can't worry about tomorrow's pain tonight.
