Pujols and Maholm, no doubt.

Pujols is arguably the best player in fantasy baseball, and Maholm is a very underrated starter/sleeper that has gotten better every year in the league.

yes, this is easy: pujols and maholm. both pitchers are likely equal, with great potential. pujols over gonzalez for sure.

i have to say this though: if i had a choice among pujols, cabrera, howard, or tex, i wouldn't take pujols. but in this case, pujols and maholm is best.

Huh?

None of those guys steal bases, so in a standard 5x5 league, how can any of those other guys possibly have more overall value than Pujols? Maybe if you consider Cabrera's 1B/3B eligibility, but even then, Pujols overall numbers easily trump anything Cabrera will put up.

Man, it isn't even close here.

pujols stole 7 bases last season. the other guys stole 1 or 2 each. not much difference in my opinion, even with pujols' less at-bats. he's more of an injury risk than the others.

That was my point, none of those guys, including Pujols, steal bases so I fail to see how any of those other guys can be more valuable than Pujols.

However based on your response it sounds as your reasoning for picking one of those other guys over Pujols is over an injury concern. To which I say, the least number of games Pujols has played over an entire season in the last 8 years is 143.

There's no way you draft any of those other guys over Pujols. No way.
