Posted a thread on the first offer, was victorino and jasquez for abrue and mora, i declined and he came back with this trade.... This now leaves a bigger whole at CI and 3b but i feel i can use Abreus bat and consistancy. this is a h2h points league 14 teams deep, we keep 3 players.
im giving vasquez and butler to get abrue... that would move murphy to the bench and i would have to either a) play inge at 3rd and pick up k Johjima as a catcher OR play bill hall at Corner Infielder or pickup Morales, dewitt, branyan ..... should i do this trade or stay put... ???????

this trade is more fair than the original... i would have declined it too. you'll be losing strikeouts with vazquez gone, but you'll be gaining a solid OF option. Abreu's age bothers me a bit, but he still has potential to hit close to 20 homers and steal a few bases. i don't think billy butler has a guaranteed spot on the team yet does he, at least for now? if not, i think it's a good deal.
