Analyze my team, 14-team league JUST DRAFTED...WHIR!!

So my league added a few new stat categories this year (Total Bases, Holds). I dunno if any of you are familiar with these categories in your league, but I could definitely use some tips if you have any.

Frank Francisco just was dropped by another team too...is he worth a flier?

I'd take Francisco and drop Buchholz.

On the whole, the biggest weakness is your lack of a big time 1B. The SP is good, the OF is good enough, the rest of the infield is reasonably good. But the 1B is not overly good. Jacobs and Guillen are not guys I would have targetted. Your RP becomes much better with Francisco, IMO.

I have little experience in 14 team leagues and none with Total Bases and Holds...So my advice may be off some...

I can't say much about Total Bases, but for holds you want to go with pitcher from a team with a solid bullpen. The guy that will give you the most holds is the 8th inning setup guy. A lot of the time you want to go for a guy who is fighting for the closer job but doesn't get it. He will be a good option.

I have to go with the guy above me, in that your main weakness is in your first baseman. You need some kind of improvement there. The rest of your guys will put up solid numbers. Also maybe look at a sleeper catcher to put on your bench because I don't think Pierzynski will go very far... A guy to maybe look at would Jarrod Saltalamaccia if he ever gets the job or Jeff Clement, because they are both VERY good hitters only sent down to minors to work on their defence a bit.

Other than that, you have a solid team especially for a 14-team league. Nice draft.
