I grabbed Kevin Gregg just in case, I can always drop him later. I am sure the Marmol owner would be pretty upset he if isn't named the closer.
According to Rotoworld: Cubs manager Lou Piniella is expected to choose his closer on Sunday. Carlos Marmol had a disastrous outing Friday, but Pineilla said he's not going to hold it against him because of the 40 mph gusts that were blowing all over the field. "It was a tough day to pitch," Piniella said. "I'm not going to place too much importance on that game one way or another." Kevin Gregg may have the better ERA at this point, but Marmol still seems to be the favorite. Stay tuned.
someone in my league dropped Marmol after one of his poor outings, I picked him up...I had just picked up Nathan in a trade, drafted Broxton, so if he pans out I could trade one of them for some SP or something...he has not looked good though, interesting story for the spring time

well that didn't work out so swell, Gregg named Cubs closer today by sweet Lou... best situation possibly for the cubs having marmol set up and gregg close them down...

That is too bad. But it worked out for me, I grabbed Gregg last week who was sitting on the waiver wire.

I'd rather have Gregg than all of them, except maybe Lindstrom if he shows he's healthy (big IF).
Gregg over all of them... id say Motte would be atop that list but theres a very very good chance he loses the job to Perez once Perez is up and running... Lindstrom has a lot of heat behind him once healthy again, Percy is never healthy, and Sherrill will lose the job to Ray before too long...
Kevin Gregg is a disaster. He'll lose this job in no time. Marmol will be in there sooner rather than later. Gregg's BB rate is going UP and his K rate is going DOWN.. not good. Lindstrom is no good either. Motte is easily the best of those 5 closers. All but Lindstrom have job security issues so throw that out the window.
