Who to Draft Next...WHIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Postby rasto21585 » Sat Mar 28, 2009 3:51 pm

I am in a first year 20 team dynasty league. We have a minor league draft coming up and I have the 4th pick. Pretty much most of the top prospects have been drafted already in the major league draft since they had some AB's or pitched a little bit in the majors last year. For example Maybin and Price played some games last year and are eligible for our major league draft. I assume Wieters will go #1, but I have no idea how the rest of the minor league draft will play out. After Wieters, who are the next top prospects should be drafted or I should draft? Oh and if you can, can you ranked them?

Can you take college guys too?
Let them have Wieters, go get Santana or Solome a few rounds later if you want a big time catcher.

I'd be looking at Laporta, Heyward, Snider, Strasburg, Bumgarner (if you don't mind waiting on some of these guys....

so far all the prospects that are gone are: snider, maybin, fowler, escobar, gamel, price in our major league draft. Who do you think will go 1-3 in my minor league draft?

I'd expect Bumgarner, Alvarez, and Heyward to be amongst the top 3 guys. They're the best prospects but guys like Trevor Cahill, Brett Anderson, and Tommy Hanson could end up being taken because they're also elite prospects but expected to produce this year.
