just read on mlb.com that he left the game after taking a foul off his hand... anyone watching the game have any word if its bad or not?

Contusion. according to the announcers he is going to be examined by a DR. so it could be anything, Broken hand or just a bruise.. but from looking at the replays, its serious

McCann suffered a contusion of his right ring finger after getting hit with a foul tip off the bat of former Braves first baseman Mark Teixeira. No X-rays were taken....

The Associated Press is reporting its just a Bruise no broken bones or any ill effects... McCann in an interview said he is taking a couple days to heal it up a little bit and will be back... nothing serious here...
