imo option B... better average, even homers, more rbi, about even runs, even doubles, few less walks, and few less SB... Option B tho imo although they are about dead even, you can make up the few walks and SB...

Option 1 is Josh Hamilton and Alex Gordon
Option 2 is Magglio Ordonez and Aramis Ramirez.
I currently have Mags and Aramis on my team.
i like your side even with the player names alot better, you have 2 of the more consistant players in the leagues... and Gordon is JUNK imo...
The amount of doubles are roughly the same for both 1-2 combos, but for Option 1 it seems to be from speed / speed potential. The SBs in the league are given 2 points with like 20 more SBs, you're looking at 40 more points. HRs are given 4 points, and combo 1 has more of those too. Runs are about equal as well as are the aforementioned doubles. Option 2 is offering around 15 more RBIs, but 15 points vs. 40 points + extra points from HRs seems like no contest. Player 2 in combination 1 seems like a good player stuck on a bad team with high upside. The only piece I'm missing at the moment is plate appearances... which might sway my opinion again.
Edit: Seeing your post, looks like I was right about player 2 being a good player on a bad team, lol.
