I personally wouldn't trade for Rios. He consistently under-performs based on his expectations every year.

But I'd go with the 1st trade if you're going to try and do it. I would say trade Howard because I hate him, but your league accounts for total bases and doesn't take away for strikeouts (except for Howards awful avg.)

I'd definitely go with the Votto trade, because Ryan Howard will really help you out in things like OBP & total bases, even though you're giving up Verlander

I agree -try the 1st one, if he doesnt go for it - i like the howard/werth for ichiro and markakis pretty well

Rios earned $26 last year, not too shabby. I would glady take him. Howard had 1 bad year of average to unlucky hit rate %. I see no reason why he can't hit .270.

Idk if the guy would take the 1st deal but the 2nd deal sounds like he would. Maybe try offering burnett or another P
