I am torn with this decision...can anyone help???

I would say yes to dropping Span for Murphy, especially if you have sufficient speed on your team.

As for sleeper catchers, I've got my eye on Kurt Suzuki & Jesus Flores this year

Yea depends on why you had Span. If it was for speed Murphy is probably not the answer but at this point I like Murphy better for general upside. I had Span as my #5 OF and recently dropped him for Lewis because the situation in MIN was making me nervous.

Who is this Daniel Murphy you speak of? ;-7

I'd probably keep Denard Span. He's got one of the coolest names in baseball.

The Irish Hammer might be the coolest nickname in baseball. :-b

Agree with the earlier analysis - if you need speed, you've got to keep span. personally, I really like murphy and expect a very good year from him. The speed factor would be the only thing that would swing me to span.

regarding the florida catching situation, i still like baker.

But if your looking for a sleeper, I've heard about a kid name Matt Wieters. :-b But seriously, it depends on the depth of your league - are there any starters still on the waiver wire?

If you have time, take a peek at my waiver wire question?
