H2H League-Carry More Bench Pitchers than Hitters? WHIR!

Postby aravtrain21 » Sat Mar 28, 2009 12:00 am

I am thinking that I need to keep the minimum amount of hitters in order to have more pitching options for 2 start weeks. Also, I feel that a pitcher is more inclined to be injured and miss a start rather than a hitter. I am thinking that I can drop Josh Fields for a SP on waivers. Also, is there anyone else that you think I could drop for SP? Or any trade suggestions? Here is a look at my current roster and waiver options at SP.

I would probably drop Fields and Spilborghs for Wellemeyer and Gallagher.

i honestly don't think you need to drop anyone just yet. however, you do have a ton of bench batters. fields would be the guy i'd cut loose. as far as who to get, i like anderson and cahill as potential sleepers. however, both don't have a secure rotation spot yet. volstad is a good option, but i'd watch to see if anderson and cahill make the rotation. if so, i think i'd get anderson.

take a look at mine please: viewtopic.php?t=374359
