Kudo's, you must have a cool wife. I'd love to be able to talk fantasy baseball around the dinner table with my wife, but she's not a fan. She likes to watch the playoffs and World Series though, which is cool. She doesn't know any players except a few Twins and celebrity Yankees/Red Sox like A-Roid, Jeter and Ortiz.

Anyways, your wife's team looks good, only thing I'd worry about is Hamels' health because after him, the pitching staff is a bit borderline. Great job all-around though, definitely some solid offensive talent.

Which players or positions should she look at upgrading?

So I'll try and be a little more constructive with my response.. :-D Also, is this a roto or H2H league?

Wife's team:

Offense: Should finish well in the power department, pretty light on steals though. You have Victorino, Young, and Maybin, but no speed off the bench or anywhere else. Since it's a 10 team there should be some speed on the WW, drop Tejada and pick up a SB specialist. Bradley, Young, Longoria, and Maybin will bring your BA down, once again just watch the WW to help your stats. 10 teams tend to have alot of strong talent on the WW.

Pitching: For a 10 team not thrilled with the pitching. Hamels and Vazquez should be ok, but Lowe and Wang have pretty low K rates. Chamberlain and Harang should help out alot though, just play the match-ups and you should be fine.

Yours: More well rounded and if you stay active I expect you to do well!
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

THanks for all your replies so far.... Are there anyother guys who can offer some suggestions? She wants to try and finalize her team (as best she can) before the opener on the 5th. By the way its a roto league.

Thanks again
