His outfield is weak, and I think it's one of my stronger areas... But is dealing Quentin and Milledge together depleting it too much? The main point of this trade is to get a legit 2nd starter like Shields - he also has Oswalt. My rotation is too upside-dependent and I'm looking to anchor it a bit with a proven stud pitcher. Just don't want to give up too much to make that happen...

I almost love this trade for you. It would leave your OF pretty thin but I'd still accept. Maybe try to cut Lastings and Dejesus out of the deal and make it a 2 for 2, or send one of your lesser pitchers instead of Lastings

I think he asked for Milledge because he doesn't want to give up Rollins without replacing his speed, or at least most of it... He's not interested in Span. He previously wanted Roberts from me, who I told him is more or less untouchable. His pitching is pretty stacked, so I don't think throwing a pitcher in would sway him much.
