hmmm, i think you're giving too much. while david wright is a great pick-up, you're giving a potential closer with cabrera. with kuo, he's not the closer, so he won't get you as much value, unless your league has a different scoring system that benefits middle relievers.
i'd get someone better than kuo for motte. that's my opinion.
Hey, I just tweaked my post with a second offer ... can you let me know what you think of MCab and Daniel Murphy for Wright? I could frankly use the extra roster spot since I am eyeing ppl on waivers...
Have you already talked to him and those are the options on the table? Because this is pretty even trade and he might do it straight up. Otherwise I'd do Option B. I love Murphy and think he's a great sleeper in deeper leagues but my hunch is that his power will keep him from being anything more than a fringe fantasy player (unless he got moved to 2B).
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
I would go with option B if you can't get the other owner to do a 1:1 trade. I would like to hold on to Murphy if I had him, but Wright would be great to have in the lineup.
I'd do Deal B. I'd give the edge to Wright over M-Cab and Daniel Murphy will likely just be a hitter you're likely to rotate. Murphy will be useful, but probably won't pan out as an everyday starter for you.
