I like this trade for you. You upgrade at the closer position and will get more categories from BJ (SB, R, Avg, OBP to name a few) then Beltre. Halladay is clearly better than Scott Baker, but you have enough pitching depth to make up for the loss. The one category you will miss is Halladay's CG, but otherwise Baker's Whip, Ks,ERA won't be much different.

i definitely think you should do it. you have good starters, so i think you could afford to lose halladay, especially to get upton and papelbon. i'd do it no doubt.
