Grab Morrow, drop ?

Postby woodson_28 » Fri Mar 27, 2009 4:08 pm

10 team league. B. Morrow cleared waviers. Who should I drop for him?

6x6 (w/ OBP and IP as the extra categories)

C: Sandoval
1B: Adrian Gonzales
2B: Utley
3B: M. Cabrera
SS: S. Drew
OF: M. Ramirez
OF: R. Ludwick
OF: B. Abreu
UTIL: D. Ortiz
BN: N. Cruz (OF), ARod (3B), C. Davis (1B/3B)

SP: Felix, Gallardo, Vazquez, Bedard, Harang, Wang, Carmona
RP: M. Gonzales, Qualls, H. Bell, F. Francisco

IP makes SP a little more valuable. I'm not wanting to drop any RP though. Wang should be decent for W's. Carmona has had a great spring so I'm not wanting to drop him. Cruz is probably my weakest batter, but great upside. Suggestions?

I'd drop Carmona or Qualls for Morrow.

I definitely wouldn't drop Cruz for him.

I'm not sure I'd be dropping anyone for Morrow right now, not that I'm a big fan of Carmona. I don't think Morrow is guaranteed a rotation spot right now.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
