Anyone have any experience with having players on the same team batting 3-4 in their normal order on your Fantasy roster?
Last year, one player (finished 2nd) acted like he hit the lottery when he drafted Berkman and Carlos Lee, so he could reap the rewards.
I know some 3-4 combo's are stronger than others, but do you think if the opportunity is there, you'd take it?
Hamilton/Cruz?
Ortiz/Youk?
Braun/Fielder?

i don't think i'd enter it into my calculations much. some people try to avoid teammates in H2H but 2 is fine. you probably lose a bit of RBI upside when you draft 3/4 hitters from the same team, but gain some security. it is pretty much a complete non-factor though.

This wins my reference for the day award. Kudos sir.
I wouldn't even notice if I drafted a 3/4 hitter from the same team, doesn't matter in the least. Unless it's like the Pirates 3/4 combo, then you should reevaluate your draft strategy.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

Discussed at length
here.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

I had Braun, Fielder, and Hart last year all together and on 2 seperate teams.
I didn't love it, but that's probably because Fielder and Hart had so-so years.

When drafting, this shouldn't come into consideration unless you are at the very end of your draft, and even then, shouldn't mean much at all. Having one guy from a team should not bump others from that team down your ranking sheet whatsoever.
