Postby Hit Factory » Fri Mar 27, 2009 12:38 pm

12 team 5x5 roto league, I need steals and average, Ichiro obviously fits the bill perfectly (also provides over 100 runs.) I would trade Carlos Lee straight up for him, please let me know what you think, thanks! WHIR!!

Here are is my current offense:
Posada
Dunn
Kelly Johnson
Youkilis
Khalil Greene
Mike Jacobs
Casilla
Sizemore
BJ Upton
Dye
Carlos Lee
Util: Sheffield
BN: Pierre
BN: Cust
BN: Dioner Navarro

Thanks fierro! I agree I am going to try and get Ichiro, I could really use his 40+ steals and his 300+ average is another bonus not to mention he scores over 100 runs!

+1. And as a previous poster said, you should have 60+ SB out of Sizemore and Upton. If you need them, just trade Lee for some SB later on in the season.

You don't need Ichiro with that offense you have. I think Lee is more valuable and would keep him.

please help

Is this a Roto league? Anyway, as was said it's not like you have no SB so no I definitely wouldn't do this. I'd bounce Pierre or Cust and grab someone like Span or Lewis to spot start when you have days off if you're worried about SB. You can grab some extra without killing your BA or giving up one of your best hitters.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
