How did I do on these 2 trades?

This is my first time playing fantasy baseball. I'm in a 10 team league with head to head scoring based on r's, hr's, rbi's, sb's, avg, and 3b's for position players and w's, k's, sv's, era, whip, and cg's.

I was happy with my draft, but I decided to make a few trades.

First, I traded Ryan Howard and Michael Young for Jimmy Rollins and Jake Peavy. Then, a few days later I traded Joba Chamberlain and Joe Nathan for Grady Sizemore and Mike Pelfrey. Afterwards I cut JD Drew for Paul Konerko.

What do you think about those trades? I know I'm going to be weak at closer now. Should I just forget about closers and trade Wood in a package for a slugger at 1st or 3rd base?

I like both of those. Peavy will get you good ace pitcher stats and Rollins is the best SS goin outside of Hanley. Grady is easily a 1st round pick for the hype of Joba.

im curious as to why you have triples as a category? not a very good statistic to have.

I think the triples category and the cg category is just in there to make it a little less predictable and force people to go on things besides all the rankings you can usually find out there.

Are my closers good enough to keep as is or do I need to either trade them to improve my corner IF or starting pitching or pick up another closer?
