Who can i drop to pick up Paul Maholm?

our league counts Quality Starts, which will only add value to P.Maholm.

i'm thinking about Clayton Kershaw...thoughts?
Or maybe even F.Lopez, but i like his multiple positions and prospect of hitting at the top of the lineup (maybe he'll regain some of his speed)

Felipe goes for me. Sure his pos elig is a boost but he's not cracking your lineup much barring injury. Your speed should be fine enough without him.

I expect for Lopez to put up double-digits for both HR & steals this season, but your team's steals are ridiculous enough as they are with the kind of 5-stat studs you have. Out of your hitters, Lopez is the weakest. I'd drop him. He has a nice OBP, but despite what he did for StL at the end of last year, I still don't expect for his BA to be too impressive.

thanks for replying to mine.

Anyway, I'm incline to agree that Lopez is the player to cut here. Sure his pos. eligibility is a big plus, but in a 10 team league, I'm willing to bet you could pick up a FA/WW guy that would produce like Lopez should one of your starters hit the DL.

If you decide to cut a pitcher, I'm leaning toward cutting Kershaw (if it's a redraft league).
