tough call. tex is best player in the deal. aviles and jeter are basically a wash in my opinion. i'd say you get the better end of the deal, but it's close. would need to see the rest of your team to make a better assessment.

I love me some Tex, however, I do think this trade would benefit you. Upgrade at C and SS(slight), and 1B is a deep position where you can have someone to replace Tex who won't be the worst player available for the position.
