Second Pick Tonite!! Reyes or Pujols

Postby jwbseven » Thu Mar 26, 2009 7:03 pm

10 Team League
Head to Head

Positions:

C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL

Categories:

R, H, HR, RBI, SB, BB, AVG

I'm split right down the middle and can't decide. This is the first time I've played with 2 additional infielder positions so there is a premium on those positions. 1B is deeper so the question is how much more value I get by taking Pujols at #2 vs grabing Berkman or Youkilis later and locking up at least one SS position. I realize I can't lose really either way but I need to be precise.

Lost in the finals last year so I am out for blood...

Pujols is just plain better. Enough to make up for the depth at CI vs MI for me.

WRIGHT, 3B is actually rather shallow now that A-Rod is out. Pujols is better statistically speaking but the #7 1B is twice the player as the #7 3B
