Auction Draft Plan

I hear it is helpful if you have a few targets listed in each slot. Any thoughts here with my projected prices and choices?

12 teams, classic 5x5 roto, 14 hitters, 9 pitchers, 2 bench spots, 8 DL spots, $260 budget.

C $16 Doumit, Napoli
C $6 Pierzynski, Shoppach, Hernandez
1B $16 Votto, C. Davis
2B $12 Weeks, Kelly Johnson
SS $38 Reyes, HanRam, or $27 for Rollings (I would then spread the rest out somewhere else)
3B $11 Reynolds, Beltre
MI $6 Felipe Lopez, polanco, DeRosa, Orlando Cabrera, Renteria
CI $5 Konerko, Adam LaRoche
OF $20 Matt Kemp, Vlad
OF $17 Jay Bruce, Jayson Werth
OF $16, Hunter Pence, Nelson Cruz
OF $8, Adam Jones, Spilborghs, Mike Cameron
OF $4 Choo, Denard Span, Adam Lind
Util $7 Lastings Milledge, milton Bradley, J. Upton, Conor Jackson

P $16 Javier Vazquez, Matt Cain, Brett Myers, Ted Lilly
P $12 Kevin Slowey, Max Scherzer, Randy Johnson
P $8 Cueto, Jered Weaver, Gil Meche
P $5 Kawakami, John Maine, Andy Sonnanstine
P $3 Manny Parra, Scott Baker, Bronson Arroyo
P $2 Chris Carpenter, Joe Blanton, Wandy Rodriquez
P $16 Broxton, Fuentes
P $8 Frank Francisco, Mike Gonzalez, Joey Devine
P $6 Joel Hanrahan, Chad Qualls, George Sherrill

BE $1x2: Smoltz, Buerhle, J. Zimmerman, Tommy Hanson

Thanks guys. WHIR.

C $16 Doumit, Napoli- I wouldn't speand $16 on a catcher with that budget, esp Napoli..he will go for a lot less than that.
C $6 Pierzynski, Shoppach, Hernandez
1B $16 Votto, C. Davis- I think that is reasonable price, but everyone is high on these young guys.
2B $12 Weeks, Kelly Johnson- very reasonable, but you will be able to get either one for less than that. Just wait until most people have a 2nd baseman.
SS $38 Reyes, HanRam, or $27 for Rollings (I would then spread the rest out somewhere else) I have seen both Reyes and Hanley go for more, but that is a realistic price. If you don't want to overpay for these guys, I may wait for Tulo, Furcal or Peralta and get them at a discount.
3B $11 Reynolds, Beltre- I would pass on Beltre...don't like him at all. If you like C Davis, I would put him at 3rd since he should be eligible there. You may also be able to get a Huff/Atkins at a discount
MI $6 Felipe Lopez, polanco, DeRosa, Orlando Cabrera, Renteria- I like both Lopez and Derosa at that price. You may even get them for less. ;-D
CI $5 Konerko, Adam LaRoche
OF $20 Matt Kemp, Vlad- Kemp is trendy so it is difficult to tell what people may be willing to shell out for him, but I may go higher on him. I wouldn't go over $20 for Vlad..let someone else pay more..they will.
OF $17 Jay Bruce, Jayson Werth- I love Werth in that range. I would also target Milledge and Ethier for around that price.
OF $16, Hunter Pence, Nelson Cruz- Pence will go for more than that. Cruz looks good.
OF $8, Adam Jones, Spilborghs, Mike Cameron- Jones ;-D
OF $4 Choo, Denard Span, Adam Lind- I like Dukes and Crisp here even a little higher
Util $7 Lastings Milledge, milton Bradley, J. Upton, Conor Jackson- I am higher on Milledge than most but if you get him for that price its a steal. Bradley too.

P $16 Javier Vazquez, Matt Cain, Brett Myers, Ted Lilly- Vazquez ;-D , too much for Lilly. Add J Johnson and Nolasco
P $12 Kevin Slowey, Max Scherzer, Randy Johnson- too much for Scherzer. I like the other 2 at that price
P $8 Cueto, Jered Weaver, Gil Meche- all goood
P $5 Kawakami, John Maine, Andy Sonnanstine- I would look at Maholm and Pelfrey for a little less. Drop Kawakami down and Maine.
P $3 Manny Parra, Scott Baker, Bronson Arroyo- Baker will go for way more (about the same as Slowey) parra probably will to
P $2 Chris Carpenter, Joe Blanton, Wandy Rodriquez
P $16 Broxton, Fuentes- ;-D
P $8 Frank Francisco, Mike Gonzalez, Joey Devine- Target cheap closers like Qualls, Lyon, Gregg
P $6 Joel Hanrahan, Chad Qualls, George Sherrill

BE $1x2: Smoltz, Buerhle, J. Zimmerman, Tommy Hanson

Thanks guys. WHIR.
