I have room for 1 more closer on my staff....but not sure which of these guys will be better. Valverde has been conistant over the years, but there's a lot of good talk about Motte...I'd like to get on the Motte band wagon early if anyone thinks it's worth it.
Actually it's more of a replacement, Motte is on the WW and I have Valverde on my team right now, but I've never been much of a fan of his.
Well this is my opinion... Motte has the potential to be a good closer, but Valverde is already a very good closer... i would definitley get Valverde 100%, motte might not even be the closer at the start of the season, plus you dont know how he'll fair once he blows a save... solid closers like valverde are the way to go.

I agree, especially if this is a re draft league, if you have a bottom tier pitcher it might be worth it
